A Long-Term Whole-Family Approach to Domestic Abuse Recovery.

SUPPORT. REBUILD. EMPOWER.
True Butterflies Foundation supports individuals and families in the south west of England affected by domestic abuse to rebuild their lives safely and sustainably.
What makes us different is our whole-family, long-term approach. We recognise that domestic abuse affects everyone, and that recovery takes time. Rather than short-term intervention, we provide ongoing, tailored support that helps individuals and families heal, rebuild relationships, and create lasting, meaningful chnage.
We provide speacialist support for adults through trained mentors, therapists, and parent workshops, alongside dedicated children's services, including therapeutic workshops, counselling where appropriate, trauma-informed programmes, and our unique Metamorphosis Academy, which offers tailored educational supports for children affected by domestic abuse.
Founded through lived experience and peer support, our work is rooted in empathy, trust, and understanding, creating strong, compassionate relationships with the families we support.
Our work moves people beyond crisis towards confidence, stability, and a safer future.
